It was great to see that Lord Sugar set the apprentices the task of making and selling sausage on BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’. It was also good to see one team go for quality at a price that reflects this, and the other team go for the cheap and ‘not so cheerful’ variety. Of course, the winning team was the one who produced the best sausage, naturally. Which begs the question, why are there so many producers still churning out inferior meat products. I suppose it’s because there are still people willing to buy them and feed their kids cheaply!

Actually, making sausage is really good fun, and we have charcuterie classes where everyone has chance to make their own sausage.

Great Christmas gift as well!
