Thursday 5th December – a true spectacle

We’ve been looking forward to carving into our pure-bred Bellota from Arturo Sánchez for weeks. Join us in the shop on Thursday evening to see David carve our Bellota for yourself! David was lucky enough to spend time honing his ham carving skills with José Ángel, a world champion Cortador. Although Jose didn’t speak a word of English, he and David communicated through a blend of charades/ ham acting (!) and their mutual enthusiasm for exceptional jamón! We will be slicing this black label Bellota into packs for you to grab and go. Priority will be given to Ilkley late night shopping customers on Thursday, but if you want to reserve your own pack via email then drop us a message to get priority access to our ‘sliced bellota waiting list’.

We’re open from 8am to 7:30pm on Thursday 5th December: come and join the fun from 4:30pm onwards.

Our late night shopping evening on Thursday will give you the chance to taste products from our Christmas brochure; plus Joe and Jack will be running butchery demonstrations. Join us at the shop to sample our food, enjoy a drink or two, and make merry with the Lishman’s crew. Plenty of Ilkley independents will be open on Thursday thanks to Ilkley BID’s late night shopping evening, and we can’t wait to get the town buzzing on Thursday evening! Come and join the fun between 4:30 & 7:30pm on Thursday 5th December.
